Jeppesen, a subsidiary of Boeing, is the market leader in aviation charting, flight planning and international trip planning services.
There are two phases to the project. In the first phase, which is now live, we converted the billing for Flight Planning and International Trip Planning from a home grown legacy system into Oracle ERP. This involve the use of Oracle's Service Contracts, Order Management, Payables and Receivables modules, plus multiple real time interfaces using BPEL.
In the second phase, now in progress, we will be upgrading the production instance to R12 and then migrating Jeppesen's charting business to this from their current 11.0.3 instance. Concurrently with this migration, we will be implementing Sales and Marketing.

The project was to implement Oracle for the client's Marine Division. I was lead functional consultant for these modules, taking over midway through the project. I was responsible for configuration, testing, training and documentation at the division's facililities in Denver and Portland, Oregon.
After a successful go-live, I was asked to join a team that did a detailed scoping analysis for Jeppesen's Aviation Division. I was futher extended to provide post go-live support for the Marine Division. |

I was lead functional consultant and solution architect on Zebra's Depot Repair project. We designed and created three customized user interfaces that met the needs of their high-volume repair operation and integrated the solution with Teleservice, Service Contracts and Install Base, which went live in 2004.

I was Lead Consultant on a project to implement iProcurement, Purchasing and Inventory as part of an EAM and Purchasing rollout. The project involved 16 remote sites, punch-outs to three supplier catalogs (Staples, Grainger and Motion Industries) and XML/EDI transmission of PO’s and Invoices.

I worked with personnel from the client’s US and European facilities to map existing processes to the new software’s capabilities, to develop and execute validation and integration test scripts, to train both project teams and to assist the client with a challenging data migration. |

I was Project Manager for a rapid implementation at a recently acquired facility. The client transitioned from a BPCS legacy system to Oracle’s 11.0.3. I managed a team of consultants that successfully transitioned the client to Oracle’s core Financials, Distribution and Manufacturing. The project required an interface between the client’s inbound EDI transactions and Oracle’s Order Entry module to accommodate the client’s special needs in a high volume, short turnaround environment. |

I was Project Manager and lead Manufacturing Consultant for a successful conversion from an SAP legacy system to Oracle’s 11i suite. The client implemented the full suite of Oracle’s Financial, Distribution and Manufacturing products as well as Service, Service Contracts and Depot Repair.
The implementation involved interfaces to homegrown as well as third party software.
After the implementation, I stayed with the client for a year consulting on planning, manufacturing and distribution business processes. |
